Amsterdam bets for clean energy 

There are 2 main projects that want to promote the sustainabilty and life quality of its residents.

Energy

1. Amsterdam produces most of its electricity through wind turbines . These turbines are all over the city, especially in portuary areas.

2. The second way of energy production, comes from solar energy. Photovoltaic cells are necesary in this process, and it is produced with small stations distributed among the territory.

Transportation

1. About 57% of the displacements in Amsterdam , are made through bicycle in distances of less than 5 kilometers. There are special places to park them all over the city. 

2. There is a road called "A10" which purpose is to relieve center's traffic, also it has "park and ride" zones which have acces to public transportation.
